Maternal Assisted Cesarean Sections. I found this to be fascinating. Of course, being a birth junky, and helping to support options for birth, it's no wonder my interest is peaked when something like this comes across my desktop. Wouldn't it be wonderful if, when a surgical birth became necessary (key word here), this option was available to women who wanted it. Assisting with their own birth, in any fashion, I believe, could help women to heal, both physically and emotionally, when cesarian becomes the mode of birth.
